Remodel
My trusted handyman will be installing a walk in bath for me. I am having my bathroom remodeled. My sister made me realize that I spend so much time in it that it ought to be as comfortable as my own bedroom. Aside from the walk in bath, I am also having my closet widened to fit the new towels that I bought. These are oh so soft towels that will induce sleep if you don’t look out! Hahaha!
Bosses' favorite?
I guess the bosses in the office either likes me a lot that they crave my company or they just like seeing me running errands for them. One of the bosses in my department was asked by his wife to check out Kohler faucets for their home. Since my boss and I went to a meeting, he asked me if I could go with him to the store. Naturally, I said yes. I didn’t know that we will be checking out lanes and lanes of faucets! I went home that night exhausted and I think I dreamt of a faucet or two.
Same views on a policy
My boss was looking for a cigar store last week. I happen to know where one is located because it was next to the gym that I frequent on weekdays. So we went together and got to talk about stuff in the office. Turned out that we have the same views on one of the policies being implemented. He asked me to review it and note the changes we talked about and he will present it to the board.
Reboot!

I saw this photo from Randomness and I thought that I do hope we can do this, reboot the universe so that the bad things happening right now can be deleted in just one click and we can go back and start again.
Then again, if we can reboot every now and then, will there be a limit to the mistakes we can make?
Makes you think, right?
Practical gifts
If you are a local, you’d know how popular motorcycles are now. A few of my cousins have it. So this coming holidays, I thought I’d give them motorcycle covers since I know where to get discounted ones. It will be useful for them. I am for this gift-giving that is practical. That’s why I always make it a point to know what they actually need before I go out and buy a gift. Smart, don’t you think?
Outdoor-type
Being an outdoor-type of person, I am blessed with a trim stomach. I thank my dad for teaching me water sports. It really made the difference in my well-being. Because I am extremely busy with work, going to the gym is not part of my agenda at the moment. But since I am actively pursuing water sports when I have free time, I need not worry about how to lose belly fat like those of my peers. A few bottles of beer and they go to the office looking bloated. Next week, the whole weekend will be spent on my well-being. That’s a date!
Sluggish
One of my staff is always sluggish. When you are working for customer support, you must be alert all the time. And she was. It’s just that lately, I noticed that there’s a change in her. Almost like she’s sleepy all the time. When I asked her about it, it turned out that she’s actually taking the best diet supplements in the market right now and it’s making her sluggish. That’s the side effect on her. Sure, she’s losing weight. But then it’s affecting her performance on the floor. So I told her that she has to make sure that the product is really for her. I sent her to the company doctor. I’ve yet to get the result of the check-up.
Fast selling
When you check what’s the fast selling products these days, a popular diet product will surely emerged on top. I accompanied my sister when she went shopping the other day and almost all displays on a popular pharmacy are those of diet pills and supplements. Nothing wrong there. As long as the companies behind the products are informing the public of its side effects. And not giving out wrong information that will lead to harm.
Halloween invitations from the neighbors
I will be spending the 31st with my family. Anyway, the company party will start as early as lunchtime, when the employees’ kids will be going around the office for sweets. I want to check the celebrations in the neighborhood where I grew up. I even got a Halloween Invitation from the homeowners’ association, and several from old neighbors. I also want to see my niece and nephew and little cousins enjoying themselves trick or treating.
I like the Invitation Halloween card I got. According to the sender, it’s from http://www.invitations-shoppe.com. I checked the site right away, of course. I found cool designs of Halloween Invitations there. You can pick a design from the selection they have, then you can have it adjusted for you. They are, in fact, creating a special design for you. Unique because you can personalize it with a photo, picture or a logo. I like the fact that Invitations-Shoppe offers same day printing and shipping for those who are already late in ordering their Halloween Party Invitations.
Trick or treat!
Pressure from work
I know that there’s a best seo software out there that web site administrators can use to optimize their sites. I must admit that these past few weeks I’m pressured from work. I have been entrusted a big project and I am pouring my 200% to it. And then there are requests from cousins to help them set up their web sites. It should have been easy for me but with the project at work… I told my parents that I might be taking a week of vacation leave after the soft launch of the project. I will tell everyone that I am going out of town somewhere but the truth is, I will be hiding in my old room at the parents’ house, catching up on sleep and letting my mom pamper me. Being the youngest and only son still have it’s perks, you know
Injustice
I get really angry when I get to witness an injustice done to others. My sister was telling me about this old lady with whom she worked with in the past. She just filed a disability appeal to claim what should have been hers in the first place. She’s encountering problem after problem with her claims.
My sister is already helping her out. And I think they will get the help of Allsup as well. I hate that people enrich themselves at the expense of the little people. I am hoping that the old lady will get what’s duly hers.
Slipped and bled
I thought my head bled the other night. I hit it on the porcelain tile in the bathroom when I slipped. I was woozy for a second and I went to the ER to have it checked. Lucky for me it was nothing.
I was so drowsy from the colds that hit me. It is raining for a few days now and I got soaked the other day while I was fixing my car. When I went home, I took a shower. After that, I started feeling sick already. I had to go to the office and was up for 18 hours straight. When I went home, I slipped in the bathroom floor.
Instead of going back to my place after I went to the ER, I went to my parents’ place and spent the night there. I let my mom pamper me. It was so nice to come home to a hot soup, home cooked meal and a clean room.
Company invitations for Halloween
In the industry I belong to, partying is a way to de-stress your employees. Every excuse to party is taken advantaged of. And a legitimate cause to party is given the utmost attention. Can you guess what occasion is coming up for us? Exactly! Halloween!
Have you gotten a Halloween Invitation already?
Halloween Party Invitations are already going out as I write this post. The bosses will be bringing their whole family to the affair. Employees are encouraged to bring their kids as well for trick or treat in the early afternoon. We are very busy with the planning of the program since all executives are coming. Halloween is a big occasion for us and a really fun time for the operations people. I was tasked to take care of the pre-party arrangements and it included the Halloween Invitations. Thank goodness for http://www.holiday-invitations.com! I found great designs where a photo, a picture or a logo can be added to. My boss was satisfied with the Invitation Halloween design we got with the company logo on it. What really made my day was when I found out that Holiday-Invitations can actually print and ship on the same day!
I hope I did my part well in this coming big occasion in the company. Can’t wait for the actual Halloween party night!
