My dad and his advices
Conquer it!
One of the things I am thankful for to my dad is that he let us discover our potentials, my sister and I. He let us travel on our own. He let us choose the paths that led us to the life that we have right now.
There’s always advices from him. But he made it clear from the time we turned 16 that his advices are just that, advices. It is still up to us to follow it, discern it and make the ultimate decision. I love the freedom it gave me in choosing and making decisions as I grow. And up to now, my dad’s still dishing out advices after advices when I see him.
It’s still up to me to follow it or now. I realized now that 90% of the time, I do follow his advices. And it never fails to uplift me.
