Branding
Branding is something I have no knowledge of. I am an IT person. I can blabber on about the latest in technology but when it comes to other facets of the company, I am a complete idiot about.
So when it comes to marketing issues that I would get involved in the company, I normally consult my cousin about it. He is a big shot marketing director of a big telecommunications company here in the country. He knows what he’s talking about so when there’s marketing talks and I don’t know what that is about, I immediately call him up to ask for advise.
This is actually one of the benefits of having so many cousins I am close to. You see in our family, we have a tight bond. Extended family, that is. Uncles, aunts, cousins are close to each other. We frequently have lunches and dinners together to catch up. So you can just imagine how many people I can run to for help should my sister and my parents are busy with their own lives and cannot be bothered.
