Corporate Branding is one of the priorities of our company for this year. There will be a couple of transitions that will happen that is making every one nervous but I tell those who I talk to that the company would just like to streamline important facets of the operations.

As I have said in previous posts, I was recently promoted. Actually, just before the holidays. And I am part of the “transition team”. The company is alarmed with the financial crisis happening across the globe right now. To make sure that our company will somehow endure the crisis, we are formulating ways on how we can save up by not laying off any one employed with the company right now. It is a great endevour considering we really need to cut on expenses. But we will do it. We will get branding experts to help us with marketing campaigns. In this time when there are lay offs left and right, any job will do. I am working really, really hard to reach my department’s goals which in turn will bring about the company’s goals to fruition.

My dad told me that he started out the same, like me. And look at where he is right now! He is nearing retirement and a chief operating officer of a multinational company! Soon, I will reach even a fraction of what he achieved.

I need a cash drawer. Not for me but for the little business that I am putting up with one of my best friends. We are putting up this business we have been dreaming of for so long now. We are excited about it and are putting all our efforts to it right now. With the recession, companies closing left and right, a fall back is something that all of us should be working on.

I was told by a Chinese elder that it will be a luckier year for me if I get something flowing in my home. Flowing water, that is. So I checked out some wall fountains and I asked my interior designer-cousin to help me pick out one that I can put at home. I will have it put at home within the month.
