My cousin, J, got married a year ago. He was working while taking up his last year in his MBA degree when he got married. His wife is an admin assistant in a multinational corporation. They are renting a condominium unit somewhere in the metro and because they are already thinking of having a baby, J is scouting for mortgage lenders so they can get a home mortgage. He has a property given to him by his parents when he graduated a couple of months ago. He was at the top of his MBA class. J is thinking of using that property as collateral for the home mortgage he will be getting.
When we were still in high school, J’s dream is to go abroad and travel extensively. He traveled a bit in college and after it. But love changed everything for him. He fell in love and set aside his dream to travel. I can see that it is well worth it. J and her wife love each other so much. I really wish they’d have a baby soon.
