Merriam-Webster’s word of ‘07: ‘w00t’
I did not know that w00t is a word. But hey, it is! Nowadays, even the declaration of words surprises us. I have only known this word in online gaming. Have even asked a friend what it was when I first saw it. Amazed the hell out of me when I was told it is like hurray! Or yeah! Haha, what an unlikely word. Whoever made this up is really something.
Consider this…
“W00t,” a hybrid of letters and numbers used by gamers as an exclamation of happiness or triumph.
